Penfield defeated Fairport 11-9. The Patriots fought back the in the fourth quarter and scored four unanswered goals spanning 13:26 to defeat Fairport 11-9. The Patriots went from being down 7-8 to leading 11-8 with only 4:55 remaining in regulation. The Red Raiders could not fight back to overtime. The game was tied seven times with the largest lead going to an 11-8 Penfield lead. Fairport led four different times throughout the game.

Senior midfielder Eric Munn (Canandaigua) and defenseman Nick Panara (Pittsford) were named US Lacrosse Academic All Americans. Junior midfielder Kevin Hill (Thomas) along with senior attackmen Trevor Hodgins (Churchville-Chili), Justin Kesselring (Fairport-A/M) and Stephen Quinzi (Pittsford) were selected as US Lacrosse All Americans.

 NOTES and COMMENTS: Ithaca started off the game with a bang. The Little Red scored the first three goals with impressive plays. The opening goal was scored with a feed from behind the cage by Nick Miller to Ryan Sposito. Sposito finished with 3g-2a to lead Ithaca. One minute later Collin Case fed the crease to Matt Pagliaro for a second goal.

In a close match-up Fairport defeated Webster Schroeder 4-3. The Red Raiders took their final lead with 5:01 left in fourth quarter. The game started off slowly with only one goal for each team in the first half. Schroeder scored first to take the initial lead with Matthew Montgomery assisting Conor Bollin. Their lead held for four minutes before Fairport tied the game with Spencer Bell scoring (assisted by Michael Modesti). The 1-1 tie held for sixteen minutes until well into the third quarter.

Penn Yan scored the opening goal and never trailed in their 10-7 win over Fairport. The Mustangs steadily increased their lead over the entire game. The score was only tied once (1-1 in the first). In the second quarter the closest the game got was Penn Yan leading by one (4-3). The closest score of the third quarter was 8-5 Mustangs.

*+Earlier this season, Webster Schroeder lost to Fairport 4-3. In the first round of sectionals, the Warriors (#5 seed) came for revenge and defeated Fairport (#4 seed) 10-9. This was the first time that Schroeder has defeated Fairport since 2008. The Red Raiders have won the last ten contests. The game was a series of runs. Schroeder controlled both the beginning and the end of the game with Fairport making a six goals run to end the second quarter.
