After the regular season, there are several championship opportunities for teams that qualify. First up are the Section Five Tournaments for four classes (A-B-C-D).
There are FOUR classes again this year.
In 2016, and after much debate, the NYSPHSAA reorganized the New York State Tournaments into four classes and so there are four tournaments at the sectional level again this year. The last change occurred in 2000 when the state moved from two to three classes.
Once again, Section Five Boys Lacrosse has a corporate sponsor for the tournaments which culminates in the crowning of champions. The Canandaigua National Bank and Trust will provide general support. Section Five Lacrosse is fortunate to have such great neighbors as friends.

Section Five Tournament Dates — 2026
The Section Five Lacrosse Tournaments will start on Thursday, May 21st and will end with the crowning of the Class A champion on Saturday, May 30th. The tournaments are open and all teams qualify if they have played at least six games.
The last games of the regular season will be on Wednesday, May 20th. Seeding for the tournaments will be posted on May 20th.

Winners of the sub-regionals will play in their home section on June 6th. If Section V teams win, their Western Regional game will be played at Hobart starting at 10:00AM, 12:30, 3:00, 5:30 (as needed with the order Class B, Class C, Class D, Class A).
