Wednesday: Fairport over Hilton
There were two games played today. Fairport hosted Hilton and used twenty-three of its thirty-nine players to complete their stats as they finished with a 16-4 victory. Meanwhile, down on Long Island, Penfield lost to Comsewogue 9-8.

-- Fairport scored the opening goal of the contest and never trailed in their 16-4 win over Hilton. The Red Raiders had 23 different players make the scorebook. Leading the scoring was midfielder Jay Vakiener with 3g-2a. Jake Newkirk recorded eleven saves (79%) in his thirty-six minutes in the cage. Joey Scalise took over for the last quarter and made two saves (67%). Fairport play at Victor on Saturday.
All of the Cadet points were scored by midfielders. Brian Russo finished with three goals, Derek Richards finished with two assists and Dante Giordano finished with one goal. In the cage, Jarod Kimble finished with three saves in one quarter and Mark Detroia finished with 15 saves spanning the remaining three quarters. Face off midfielder Harald Juergens finished with a team leading seven ground balls. Ricky Cocilova finished with five ground balls and defenseman Tom Bianchi finished with four. Hilton is done for the week and will host Thomas next Tuesday.
