Irondequoit beat Victor tonight and will play Canandaigua who beat Churchville-Chili and Penn Yan was the winner over HF-L which puts them up against Livonia who defeated Aquinas tonight.

With the signing of his National Letter of Intent, Tuesday, Mitch symbolized the achievement of his goal. Mitch will attend Albany and play for the Great Danes next fall.

The University of Binghamton has a long history of recruiting Section Five players and Head Coach Scott Nelson has picked up four more from this year's seniors, including Victor midfielder TJ DiSanto, who signed his National Letter of Intent on Tuesday. Fairport players Chris Bechle and Brian Martin and Irondequoit goalie Eric Fischer are also expected to play for the Bearcats. They will join Kraig Heston (AQ), JT Hauck (Thomas) and Tucker Nelson (Penfield) when they arrive on the Binghamton campus next fall.

In his two years on Varsity, John Maloney has amassed 92 points (54g-40a) and last summer he played for the Brine All-American Lacrosse National Classic (champions) and the Nike Upstate Rising Senior team (champions) along with a trip to the 205 Camp where he made the all-star team. It certainly has been a busy time for John, but the highlight may have been his National Letter of Intent signing ceremony at Victor Central School on Tuesday. There, with over fifty well-wishers, he, along with Mitch Rupp and TJ DiSanto were honored as they committed to their Division I college teams.
