Penn Yan defenseman, Jimmy Burdette recently announced his decision to play lacrosse at SUNY Albany after graduation his spring. A strong long-stick for the Mustangs, he is not afraid to race down-field and take a shot on goal.

Burdette had a busy summer, playing for his club team, SweetLax. He played in the Tri-State and the Summer Slam Tournaments and the Yale Bulldog Classic. His was a member of the Brine National All-America team and played in the John Pepper Memorial Tournament.

At Albany, he is expected to join a number of Section Five alumni, including Tyler Aycook (Pittsford), John Maloney (Victor), Blaze Riorden (Fairport) and Mitch Rupp (Victor).
