The first quarter set the tone as Thomas surged ahead, scoring fourteen goals to Wayne's two. The Titans made frequent substitutions after the first quarter and the teams remained competitive in the final quarters, but Thomas maintained its lead. Blake Jipson led Thomas with seven goals, while Brandon Trottier added five goals and two assists. Alex Mulcahy and TJ Balch each contributed two goals. Goalkeeper Emmett Ernst held a fifty percent save percentage, stopping three shots in his twelve-minute stint.
Tucker Eaton and Hank Smith each scoring one goal. In net, Andrew Contestabile delivered a strong performance during his twelve minutes, saving one shot and maintaining a perfect save rate. Despite a strong fourth-quarter effort with four goals scored, Wayne could not close the gap.
