Pittsford traveled to Ohio for their season opening and after a visit to Ohio State University, played a night game against Worthington Kilbourne. After a 3-1 first quarter and 5-4 half, the Panthers finished with a 12-8 win against the Wolves. Kilbourne has a strong tradition of winning, making it to the Ohio State "Final Four" twelve times as they begin their twenty-fifth year. In 2009 they won a State Championship and in the last five years have a record of 77-26.

West Genesee scored five unanswered goals spanning the second through fourth quarters to defeat Pittsford 8-7. The Wildcats will face Niskayuna in the State Finals at Vestal on Saturday. The game came down to consistent offense versus high powered unsettled play. The Panthers were much more flexible and willing to find openings in whatever they were presented. The Wildcats played strong consistent offensive for four quarters and slowly chipped away at an early Pittsford lead.

In the three years that Pittsford has face Duxbury, the Panthers have won all three. Today, Pittsford won 6-5. The Panthers have scored six goals each year with Duxbury scoring 5 in 2014, 2 in 2015 and 5 this year. When the Dragons held Pittsford to six last season it was the smallest amount the Panthers were held to all year. Duxbury is a nine-time Mass State Champion.

In a game of halves, Pittsford defeated Corning 8-7. The Panthers scored the game winning goal in the final sixty seconds. The Hawks finish their season at 13-3 with two of their three losses to Section Five Teams. Corning came out of the gate ready to win and scored four of the first five to lead 4-1 with 5:27 left in the first half.

The Panthers kept up their scoring and, even though the Patriots scored late to make the score closer, they defeated Penfield 12-9. The Patriots scored the final four goals to decrease the deficit to only three goals. Pittsford`s largest lead was 12-5 at the end of the third quarters.
