Churchville-Chili outlasted Livonia-Avon-Geneseo 10-8, fueled by William Morgan’s offensive firepower and a stellar performance by goalie Dominic Marra. Meanwhile, Haverling edged Gananda 13-12 in a dramatic back-and-forth battle, with Colegrove netting six goals and Stermole making clutch saves down the stretch. Elsewhere, Newark, Spencerport, Bloomfield-Honeoye, and Mynderse-Romulus secured decisive victories, showcasing dominant offensive performances and milestone achievements.   Full Story

Victor Advances in Section 5 Quarterfinals

Victor defeated Spencerport 20-4 in the Section 5 Quarterfinals, with Will Johnson leading the offense with four goals and four assists. Nine different players contributed to Victor’s scoring, while Spencerport’s top performer was Gavin Brown with two goals. Freshman Eli Ricci reached his 300th career faceoff win, and senior JT Ricci won nine faceoffs at an 82% success rate. Baldwinsville defeated Canandaigua 9-8 in overtime, ending Canandaigua’s perfect season. Baldwinsville rallied from a three-goal deficit late, with senior midfielder Brady Garcia tying the game with five seconds left in regulation. Senior midfielder Ignazio LoMedico secured the win with an outside bounce shot in overtime. Brady Garcia led Baldwinsville with three goals, while Canandaigua’s top scorers included Mike Belles and Ryan Bremer. Goalie John Martoccia made 12 saves for Baldwinsville.
