# 3101 Victor over Fairport, Brighton over Schroeder Wednesday: DAY IN REVIEW: Senior faceoff specialist Logan Callahan gave Victor a big advantage in ball time as he won 14/18 draws to help the Blue Devils beat Fairport 10-6 this afternoon. Callahan, who in three games this season has won 58/66 (88%) faceoffs also scored 2g-1a. The game started even, with three ties before Victor took a lead at 4-3 and did not let go. Senior M/A Cal Lambert led the scoring for the Blue Devils with 3g-2a. Senior midfielder Alex Seiler added 2g-1 and five other players scored one goal. Fairport sophomore A/M Jackson Monte led in scoring for the Red Raiders with 2g-1a. Fairport (2-2) will play Penfield on Friday while Victor (3-0) is playing Irondequoit. Bloomfield-Honeoye scored first in their opener at Waterloo and never lost the lead in what was a close game until in the last stanza, the Pride scored four unanswered goals. Junior midfielder JD Allen left the game with 6g-1a and senior attackman Max Willix had 2g-3a to lead the scoring. For Waterloo, sophomore attackman Nathan Costantino and junior midfielder Peter Shangraw each had 2g-1a for Waterloo who gets a few days off before player Wayne on Tuesday. |

The Red Raiders held the Titans scoreless for the final 22 minutes of regulation, while scoring three goals to force overtime. Thomas scored the first goal and never trailed (although the score was tied 3 times) before Fairport scored the game winning overtime goal. Kole Stuver scored his second goal of the game 1:33 into the first overtime period. His brother Klay scored the game tying goal with 6:20 left in the fourth quarter. |

Schroeder came out strong winning the first quarter 3-2. Thomas came back with two unanswered goals in the second quarter to take the 4-3 lead into halftime. The Titans never lost the lead after that. |
