# 3097 Penfield Wins in Overtime Monday: DAY IN REVIEW: It took overtime for Penfield to defeat The Panthers 12-11 tonight on the road. With Pittsford up 11-7 at the top of the fourth quarter but starting with 5:08 left in the game, Penfield scored four unanswered goals to tie the game at 11-11 with 2:11 left. With 2:04 left in overtime, senior attackman Sam Cummings scored the game-winner with an assist from Jake Fox. Cummings ended the game with 4g and senior midfielder Chris Smith added 3g-2a. John Richiusa gave the Patriots lots of ball time as he won 23/27 faceoffs. Pittsford senior attackman Harrison Cross led scoring with 2g-2a and junior James Cook added 3g for the Panthers (2-2) who will play R-H on Wednesday. # 2907 Spencerport Scores Last Four to Win by One Spencerport only led for just under two minutes during their 10-9 win over Churchville-Chili tonight in the opening round of the Class B Tournament. The eighth seeded Rangers played the ninth seeded Saints for the second time this season. Their last matchup was less than a week ago with Spencerport winning that game 12-6. Tonight, the Saints played a much stronger game and led for the majority; including a three goal lead halfway through the fourth quarter that Spencerport fought back against. |

The Rangers scored the opening goal with Zach Edwards scoring in the first 60 second unassisted and although the game was tied twice, they never lost the lead. Rush-Henrietta played hard in the beginning of the third with 4 out of 5 straight goals to tie the game at 6-6. However, the Rangers came back to finish out the third up by two and hold the Royal Comets to only a single goal late in the fourth. |

After leading for the majority of three quarters, RH had to fight back in the final five minutes to defeat Livonia-Avon 10-9.
