Pal-Mac - Many Players Returning

Pal-Mac 2022

Class C - Finger Lakes League

Pal-Mac was 13-9 last year, loosing to Penn Yan in the Class D Championship game but this year they are in Class C and they have an abundance of talent from a very good team last year. All of their stat leaders from 2021 are back and offensively they only lost 25 of 374 points to graduation.

HiltonCoach Joe Hill is tight-lipped" about the team saying, "We return a number of players from last years team and we hope to build off of a successful 2021 season," but would not pick key players, stating, "This years team has chosen not to be singled out, all of the players on the Varsity team this season will need to contribute in order for the TEAM to succeed!"

That being said, it is not difficult for us to say that among the expected returners are 2021 goal leader Logan Babcock (54-23a), assists leader (and faceoff specialist) Quinn Nolan (37g-31a-255fo wins=88%), Mike Halsey (13g-22a), Damian Knaak (19g-13a), Riley Lich (38g-18a), and Keagan Hoesterey (13g-12). That's only some of the returning offensive power.

HiltonThe Red Raider starting goalie is also back. Will Nichols made 141 saves (60%) last year and in two outings this year has posted a 60% day against Churchville-Chili and a 63% day against Livonia-Avon, both with good shooters. Protecting Nichols we would expect to see Robert Kinslow who had 55gbs last year and Jakob Day (20gbs) and Kyle Hoesterey. There is clearly more talent as thirteen players earned post-season honors in 2021.

The Red Raiders currently have fourteen games on the schedule that is mostly Finger Lakes league games. Non-League games have been arranged with Irondequoit and Brighton. They have already had good wins against a much improved Churchville-Chili team and a very strong Livonia-Avon. They will end the regular season on May 12th when they visit Penn Yan. When they get to the Class C sectional tournaments they would be expected to play HF-L, Wayne or Geneva, according to the preseason poll.
