Quarter final Games - Class B

Geneva, McQuaid Jesuit and Eastridge, each the high seeds will advance to the Class B semi finals at Waterloo next Tuesday (May 29th). The Victor Brighton game will be decided on Friday (May 25th). Full Story

Out bracket Games - Class A

All but one game in the Class A out bracket round was won by the higher seed and that one exception saw a determined Pittsford (11th) beat Rush-Henrietta (#6) and a exciting and very close game. Full Story

Saturday - Last Games in Regular Season

For the first time in eleven years, Geneva posted a win against Penn Yan as they won 8-4 at home on the last day of the regular season. Full Story

Thursday - Some Close Ones

There were a number of close games with only one regular season day left before the Section Five Tournament begins. Penfield beat R-H in overtime, as did Newark in their game over Midlakes. McQuaid Jesuit won the GRALL championship and Irondequoit had a big win against Fairport. Full Story

Lightning in Double Overtime

In one of the strongest come-backs this season the Greece Arcadia/Olympia Lightning came back from a 9-2 defect to defeated the Greece Athena/Odyssey Thunder 11-10 in double overtime. Full Story

Tuesday - Schroeder over Penfield by One

In the last week of the regular season, the MC league is nearly finished and there was lots of action today. Winners included Fairport, Schroeder, Spencerport, Eastridge, Irondequoit, Churchville, Hilton, Brockport, Newark, Waterloo, Livonia, Geneva and Canandaigua. Full Story

Sat - Irondequoit and R-H win big games

There were big wins today for Irondequoit (over Schroeder) and Rush-Henrietta (over Fairport), while Thomas won an OT victory over Eastridge and Penfield used a last quarter push to beat Pittsford. Other winners today included HFL, C-C, Brockport, GC and Brighton. Full Story

Friday - Penn Yan over Canandaigua

In a much anticipated game, Penn Yan avenged an earlier loss to Canandaigua, with an exciting last minute 8-7 home victory. Midlakes held of a late effort by Pal-Mac, Livonia put themselves into the finals of the GRALL Championship and Geneva and Waterloo were winners in Friday action. Full Story

Thursday - League Play

With league games the mainstay, winners included Fairport or Penfield, Schroeder over RH and Irondequoit over Pittsford. Other winners included Brockport, Spencerport, CC, Thomas. HFL and McQuaid Jesuit. Full Story

Wednesday - Four Mismatches

Wednesday ’s contests were all Finger Lakes cross-over games and ones that went to running time as Penn Yan, Canandaigua, Victor and Geneva were all victorious. Full Story

Tuesday - Livonia, Pittsford, CC Win

NIne games were played today. Livonia beat McQuaid Jesuit 11-7, Pittsford was a 12-5 winner over HFL, C-C beat Eastridge 15-8. Other winners included AQ, G-C, Ath/Ody, IHS, R-H and Brockport. Full Story

Monday - A couple of Close Ones

Penn Yan won by two and Canandaigua and Pal-Mac won by one, but Eastridge and Gates won by large margins. Midlakes beat Waterloo 10-7. Full Story

Sunday - St. Francis Splits with McQuaid Jesuit

In the second meeting this year it was another two goal game, but this time St. Francis (Section 6) came out on top with a 10-8 win over visiting McQuaid Jesuit. The Knights led at the end of the the first quarter 3-2, 6-3 at the half and 8-6 after three quarters but four unanswered goals in the fourth quarter gave the Red Raiders the win. Full Story

Saturday: Schroeder over Irondequoit

Proving how close the Class A teams are this year, Schroeder beat Irondequoit in a close game (6-5). Rush-Henrietta was an 11-7 winner over Churchville-Chili. Livonia beat Aquinas, Brighton beat Gates in OT, Penn Yan beat Amherst and Fairport beat Orchard Park. Other winners included Eastridge, Penfield, Hilton, Pittsford and Newark. Full Story

Thursday Games - Many Lopsided

Wednesday: Hilton Sets Team Record

Hilton posted its sixth win in a season with their 3-2 game with Brighton. Brockport was a 9-4 winner over HFL and Canandaigua, Livonia and McQuaid Jesuit won their games on Wednesday. Full Story

No More Undefeated Teams

Fairport defeated the last of the undefeated teams this afternoon when the beat visiting Irondequoit, 8-7 in overtime. Rush-Henrietta had a 10-9 win over Penfield, Pittsford played a great game against Schroeder but lost 7-9. The Thunder won in the 2nd OT. A total of 13 games were scheduled on Thursday. Full Story
