At least as far as the Upstate tournaments were concerned, it was a series of clean sweeps. In the out bracket round it was a clean sweep for Section Three. In the quarter finals Section Five teams swept Section Six and Section Three swept Section 10. In the semi finals it was a swept for Section three over Section Five and in the finals the Section Three teams all lost to Downstate teams.

In the championships at Hofstra, Massapequa (Section 8) defeated Fayetteville-Manlius 16-2 in Class A. In Class B, Yorktown (Section 1) defeated Jamesville-DeWitt 10-9 and in Class C, Bronxville (Section 1) beat Cazenovia 13-10.
