Geneva surprised many with their exciting 9-7 win over last year's Class B Champion, Irondequoit in a game played at Hobart College in Geneva today. The Eagles scored first and after Geneva came back for the tie Irondequoit went up again 2-1. Full Story

Forty-One Games with Out of Section Opponents

Section Five teams often add exciting games with teams outside the Section. Section 6 (Buffalo) and Section 3 (Syracuse) are favorite areas but some teams take advantage of spring break to visit out parts of the country. Full Story

Thursday: Opening Day for Season 2013

Michael Cuciti Selects Nazareth College

Michael Cuciti will be staying close to home when he travels from Canandaigua to study and play lacrosse at Nazareth College. The senior goalie started playing with the Braves Varsity as a sophomore, recording 37 saves in twelve games (64%). Last season, he played 824 minutes in the cage, recording 186 saves (58%). Senior attackman, Matt Kaser recently stated his decision to attend and play lacrosse at SUNY Binghamton after his final season with the Rangers. Another Penn State Commit: Sophomore Michel McClain

 Canandaigua sophomore defenseman Michel McClain recently announced his verbal commitment to attend and play lacrosse at Penn State University under Head Coach Jeff Tambroni. McClain, who is expected to start his varsity career with Canandaigua this spring, was named to the all-star team at last summer's "Hotbeds" camp in Delaware. He also played for the Braves in the John Pepper Memorial Tournament last July. Full Story
