Michael Cuciti will be staying close to home when he travels from Canandaigua to study and play lacrosse at Nazareth College. The senior goalie started playing with the Braves Varsity as a sophomore, recording 37 saves in twelve games (64%). Last season, he played 824 minutes in the cage, recording 186 saves (58%).
In the off-season he has played for the Nike Rising Sophomore and Rising Junior teams and was a member of the 2010 FCA team that won the U-15 Championship.
At Nazareth, he will be playing for Coach Rob Randall and plans to major in physical therapy. He will be expected to join about a half a dozen former Section Five players including Chris Benza (Fairport), Jason Boike (HF-L), Clark Hadley (McQuaid), Tyrone Reaves (Brighton) and Chris Aycock (R-H).
