Thomas was an 8-7 winner over Fairport, Geneva was a 9-8 winner over HFL and McQuaid Jesuit was an 9-8 overtime winner over Livonia. Other winners on Tuesday include Victor, Churchville-Chili, Irondequoit, Canandaigua, Aquinas, Pal-Mac, Bloomfield-Honeoye and Hamilton (over Mynderse).

Penfield remains undefeated with an 11-5 win over Fairport. In other contests Ath/Ody was the winner over Batavia, Thomas over Brighton, Gates over Brockport, Hilton over Eastridge and Schroeder over Pittsford. Also winning were Irondequoit over Rush, Livonia over Haverling, Geneva over Victor and BH over Midlakes.

There was lots of action on Thursday with many league games. Winners today included Irondequoit, Churchville-Chili, Fairport, Penfield, Haverling, Victor, Canandaigua, Geneva, Penn Yan Athena/Odyssey, Thomas, and McQuaid Jesuit, who won in Buffalo against St. Francis. Close games included Eastridge over Brighton (6-5) and Penfield over Schroeder.

# 658  Sweetlax Freshman Take Inside Lacrosse Invitational

The Sweetlax Lacrosse Club sent a rising freshman team to the Inside Lacrosse Invitational Recruiting Tournament where they went 6-0 and took first place. The tournament, held at Goucher College (Baltimore, MD), was held from July 20-22. Sweetlax outscored opponents 75-25, allowed no more than seven goals against. The closed game, against FLG 2019 was 9-5.
