GREECE ARCADIA / OLYMPIA
March 18,2006 - Arcadia / Olympia joins the Monroe County-3 division this year for their first Varsity year under Head Coach Sam Cassarino who is looking to build the program around a group of players who generally have played for two years.

Top players on the 2006 team include junior Rob Werner and sophomore Frank Slapar in attack and seniors Josh Ake and Jeremy Plisk with freshman Thomas Dyer in defense. At midfield are juniors Kyle Dorman, Ron Hatch, Mark Calcagno and Brian Cassidy with sophomore Kevin Martin. The goalies include sophomores Zach Bevilacqua and Anthony White.

The Lightning will understandably be in building mode this year and Coach Cassarino properly suggests that success this year will be measured not by wins and losses but by the continuous development of skills. Their Monroe County-3 schedule will allow the Lightning to compete in a number of games.
