The Blue Panthers won their second one goal game in a row to remain undefeated at 6-0. Gananda won an exciting 11-10 victory over Pal-Mac as the combination of seniors Brett Cunningham and Henry Bush combined for seven goals which proved to be the difference. # 1219 Wayne Wins on Cradle for a Cure Night Wayne hosted their fifth annual “Cradle for a Cure” event today and defeated Gananda 23-5. The “Cradle for a Cure” event began five years ago as a fundraising/awareness event after a local lacrosse player received a cancer diagnosis. Every year since, Wayne has hosted a multigame event with boys and girls lax with the hope of donating to both local charities and a local family in need of assistance. Earlier in the evening in the girls’ contest, Waterloo defeated Wayne 17-9 (HERE). |
