Grand Island edged out Schroeder, securing a 10-8 victory behind strong performances from Cody Preston and Van Bolton in goal. JD held off Victor for a hard-fought 9-7 win, maintaining control despite a late push from Victor’s offense. LAG at HFLMeanwhile, Wayne narrowly defeated Mynderse-Romulus 14-13 in an FL-D1 league battle, with standout scoring from Tas Strickland and a clutch performance by eighth-grade goalie Gavin Hamel. The remaining matchups saw dominant victories, including McQuaid Jesuit extending their streak against St. Joseph’s, Penn Yan celebrating milestone goals, and HFL powering through with a commanding 14-2 win. 

ST. JOSEPH`S-2 at MCQUAID JESUIT-6 - McQuaid Jesuit earned a 6-2 win over St. Joseph's, with junior Domenic Giangreco leading the scoring with three goals. Senior goalie Jack Rawleigh made eight saves and posted an 80% save rate. The win marks the team’s fifth consecutive victory against St. Joseph's. PENN YAN-14 at LAKE SHORE-5 - Penn Yan defeated Lake Shore 14-5 in a non-league game, with junior midfielder Braden Fingar scoring six goals and reaching his 100th career goal. Tukker Fisher added one goal and four assists, marking his 50th career assist. WAYNE-14 at MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-13 - Wayne edged Mynderse-Romulus 14-13 in a close FL-D1 league game. Jack Brady led Mynderse-Romulus with seven goals, while Tas Strickland matched that total for Wayne. Griffin Hilimire and Mason Michel each had multi-point performances. Eighth-grade goalie Gavin Hamel recorded fifteen saves with a 54% save percentage for Wayne. Bloomfield-Honeoye won their game with Brockport in "sudden victory". The Storm won their game with Gates Chili 9-4 and HFL beat Churchville-Chil 17-10,  but the four other games were mismatched.

DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - Although the majority of games ended in mismatches, there were a couple of exciting games. Topping the list is Canandaigua's 4-3 win at Brighton where neither team scored in the second half. Pittsford took an early lead and then never gave it up in the 8-6 win over visiting Irondequoit and Spencerport held Fairport scoreless in two quarters in their 7-3 win at home. Penfield scored four unanswered goals in the first quarter and then coasted to their 11-7 win over visiting Schroeder.

DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - Fairport Head Coach Mike Torrelli won his 250th game today as the Red Raiders posted a 7-5 win over visiting Thomas. Brighton won a close one at Irondequoit and East-United won a close one at Brockport. HF-L won a close one at Schroeder and Canandaigua won their game against Spencerport.
