JMJ Scholarship Available

JMJ A fund in the memory of Jeff Milano-Johnson was established to award an annual $500 scholarship to a Section V male or female lacrosse player. Jeff died, at the age of 14, on April 11, 2007 of a brain aneurysm while playing the game he loved.

The 2012 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who demonstrates Jeff's unique characteristics of enthusiasm for life, compassion, perseverance, service to others and creativity. His loving family also says "a touch of goofiness" will honor Jeff as well.

The deadline for applications is May 1, 2012.

For information on the Jeff Milano-Johnson Memorial Fund go to www.jmj23fund.org. Applications are available from team coaches.
