DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - There were seven games played today highlighted by Penfield's Brodie Joyce breaking his school's 20-year scoring record with eight goals in a win over Fairport, Brockport's Ryan Miller reaching 101 career goals in a 9-8 win over Gates Chili, and Spencerport's Zach Tortora recording his 200th career point in a win over Schroeder. Other winners included Hilton, Rush-Henrietta, Pittsford (9-8 over Thomas), and HFL.
PITTSFORD-9 at THOMAS-8 - Pittsford opened its Monroe County D-2 season with a 9-8 road win over Thomas on March 24 — its fifth straight win over the Saints — led by Avery Valenti (6g), Trevor Nally (2g-1a), and Grant Lewis (1g), with freshman Keegan Jacob winning 15 of 16 faceoffs (94%); no stats were available from

HILTON-25 at GREECE STORM-2 - Hilton opened its Monroe County D-1 season with a 25-2 win over Greece Storm with 11 players scoring goals led by Anthony Mitrano (5g), Drew Brien (4g-2a), and Cahlan Smith (2g-4a). Brady Graves (2g), and Cam Wilson (2g — both first career varsity goals) while juniors Anthony Meli, Evan John, and Brady Graves and sophomore Lucas Grizzanti also scored their first varsity goals, Trypp Hilbert and Grizzanti each recorded their first varsity assists, Owen Harnden stopped four of six shots (67%), and Greece Storm's James Maccallini scored both goals while Eric Odell reached 503 career faceoff wins. EAST UNITED-EASTRIDGE-1 at RUSH-HENRIETTA-20- Rush-Henrietta opened its Monroe County D-1 season with a win over East United-Eastridge in Head Coach London Booker's return to the sidelines, with 11 players scoring led by Zachary Winner (5g), Luke Lippincott (3g-1a), Ronin Walker (2g-2a), Brayden Towner (2g-2a), and Preston Jackson (2g-2a — reaching 51 career goals); Myles Weaver, Ryder Zuchegno, Noah Valenti, and Raydyn Phommaxaysy-Barker each scored their first varsity goals, while Lippincott and Anthony Valenti recorded their first varsity assists.
