Friday: Livonia and Pal-Mac Win

Livonia and Pal-Mac both had huge scores against opponents in the only two games on Friday. Livonia posted an 18-2 win over visiting Gananda and the Red Raiders beat Midlakes 24-2 at home.

 --  Considering the final score of 24-2, it took Palmyra-Macedon quite a while to get started in their win over Midlakes. Their first goal came with 4:22 left in the first quarter, but thirty-three seconds later the score was 3-0. After a 5-0 first quarter the Red Raiders scored twelve goals before the half and added seven more in running time.

Freshman attackman, Ben Reeves scored 6g-3a to lead eight of his teammates on the offensive scorebook. Senior goalie Matt Carkner posted six saves for Pal-Mac (5-2) who play Gananda at home on Monday.  return to top

Livonia-Gananda --  The Bulldogs scored the first nine goals, spanning the first sixteen minutes of the game on their way to an 18-2 win over first year visiting team Gananda. The half ended with Livonia up 14-2 and the entire second half was in running time.

Sophomores Josh Wester (3g-4a) and Derek Bishopp (3g-3a) topped the offensive list along with junior Cody Cisco $g-1a). Junior goalie Ethan Jamison recorded 6s against both Blue Panther goals. Senior goalie Joe Simpson played the last quarter and made four saves.

Livonia reported that Gananda's goals came from Collin Dotterer and Trevor Schraffenberger. Junior attackman Ian Palmer assisted on one of the Blue Panther goals.
