State poll number nine is out today and the eight Section Five teams remain on the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

Fairport remains in #5 and Thomas remains in #8. Pittsford remains on the Honorable Mention list in Class A.

In Class B, Canandaigua remains in #4 and Irondequoit moves up from #7 to #6 while Brighton remains on the Honorable Mention list.

In Class C, Penn Yan remains in #5 and Aquinas moves up to #7.

The top spots in week seven go to West Genesee (Section 3) in Class A, Niskayuna (Section 2) in Class B and Manhasset (Section 8) in Class C.
