The Blue Devils took control early and held it for a huge chunk of the game. They led by four goals with four minutes remaining in regulation. Brighton scored four goals in last four minutes (with Victor adding one of their own) to pull within one goal two different times. Victor advances to the Sectional Finals for the Seventh straight season. |

Victor scored the game winning goal with only 0:50 remaining in the game to defeat Loyola Academy 5-4. Over the last 50 games the Blue Devils have won by an average of 9.7 goals per game; for only the second time the game was decided by a single goal. The first time was against Pittsford on May 7,2015 and the Blue Devils needed overtime to secure their 14th straight win (HERE). |
# 658 Sweetlax Freshman Take Inside Lacrosse Invitational The Sweetlax Lacrosse Club sent a rising freshman team to the Inside Lacrosse Invitational Recruiting Tournament where they went 6-0 and took first place. The tournament, held at Goucher College (Baltimore, MD), was held from July 20-22. Sweetlax outscored opponents 75-25, allowed no more than seven goals against. The closed game, against FLG 2019 was 9-5. |
