Brockport was a 9-8 winner over Gates Chili, Greece was a 7-6 winner over Spencerport, Rush-Henrietta was a 6-5 winner over HF-L, Pittsford was an 11-10 winner over Irondequoit and Schroeder was an 8-7 winner over Penfield. Hilton beat Thomas 9-3. It was only the second time the Cadets (7-2) have won against the Titans. |

Spencerport(2-5) defeated Rush-Henrietta(5-4) with a scored of 9-7 and Hilton(6-2) took out Schroeder(4-4) 9-5. |

The Panthers won 7-6 after scoring three straight to span the third and fourth quarters. During their scoring stretch, they held the Braves scoreless for 22 minutes. The Most Valuable Player in Class A was Jack Cummings (Penfield) and in Class C was Sam Miller (Geneva). Players were selected on the basis of their performances in the Section Five Tournaments. |
# 1430 Penfield Wins First Title Since 2012 Penfield held off a late press by Fairport to become the Class A Champions with a 9-8 win over the Red Raiders. This is the first Sectional Title for Penfield since 2013. The Patriots and Red Raiders have now face three times in the Title Game and Penfield now has a 2-1 lead. Prior to today, Fairport defeated Penfield in 2012 and Penfield defeated Fairport in 1993. |

Harrison Cross scored the opening goal 1:59 into the first quarter. Ryan Dumont, who led the Panthers with 2g-1a, got his assist on the opening goal. Matt Powers scored the second Panther goal less than two minutes later. The Red Raiders responded with two goals of their own to force the tie. Colin Peers and Klay Stuver scored for Fairport. |
