In the first round of sectionals, Livonia forced overtime, but the result was the same. Mynderse won 10-9 when Brad Sandroni scored a goal with 0:43 remaining in the first overtime period. Unlike Thursday`s game, this game took a defensive tone from the first quarter. Livonia got on the board at 7:09 of the first with a goal from Tim Lischer.
