There were interesting games today and two of the more interesting were won by one goal. Thomas beat Fairport 12-11 and Penfield beat Penn Yan 9-8. Churchville-Chili defeated HFL 16-13 and Irondequoit defeated Brighton 10-7.

Irondequoit has a 15-9 win over visiting Ithaca while Livonia used a last minute flurry to take Rush-Henrietta in overtime. Waterloo and Midlakes played a close game, but the Indians held on to their one goal lead for the win.

Canandaigua handed Victor their second loss of the season 8-5. They took off in the second half, outscoring Victor 7-2 in the last 24 minutes. Victor has won the last 5 times that they have faced the Braves, with Canandaigua's last win coming in May of 2013 to win the Sectional Title in overtime. Carson Greene led the offense for the Braves with 2g-3a and Brandon Moore recorded 15 saves (75%) in the cages. Zach Estabrooks had 2g for the Blue Devils.

There were two games played on Monday. Bloomfield-Honeoye scored the first goal and never was behind in their win over Mynderse. Six players made the Pride offensive book, Jon Marble scored 2g-2a and Tyler Joslyn added 3g. Goalie Devin Campbell led in the ground ball effort with five and made seven saves (58%). Jake Curran scored 1g-2a and four others added one goal each for the Blue Devils, whose goalie, Noah Goodall made eleven saves (55%).

# 463  Mynderse Over Livonia in OT

GAME NOTES: The final game of the regular season saw Mynderse defeating Livonia 17-14. In the first round of sectionals, Livonia forced overtime, but the result was the same. Mynderse won 10-9 when Brad Sandroni scored a goal with 0:43 remaining in the first overtime period. Unlike Thursday`s game, this game took a defensive tone from the first quarter. Livonia got on the board at 7:09 of the first with a goal from Tim Lischer. Mynderse took 12 shots in the first with no luck as Justin LaDuke had 5 of his 14 for the Rams.
