The Blue Panthers defeated Wayne 9-8 after scoring four of the last five goals. Gananda opened up the game with the first two goals. Evan Smith scored off a feed from Jake Rapp followed by Rapp scoring off a feed from Weise. Wayne responded with five unanswered goals to go up 5-2 with 2:23 remaining in the half. Brett Cunningham scored the final goal of the half to put the Blue Panthers within two goals. |
