Saturday - Last Day of the Regular Season

DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - There were five games today as the regular season ended. Mynderse beat the Pride 7-6 and Fairport beat McQuaid Jesuit 7-4.

PENN YAN 3  - THOMAS 15 - Eleven players made the book for the Titans. Evan Pashalidis had 3g-3a and Nathan Hoban had 3g-1a. Caden Dixon scored 2g for Penn Yan who finishes their season at 9-7. Thomas finishes at 11-5.     [BOX SCORE] 

Irondequoit at  PenfieldBLOOMFIELD-HONEOYE 6  - MYNDERSE 7 - In the closest game of the day, Mynderse saw scoring from six different players. Mason Buckley had 2g and Chase Fitzgerald had 2g-1a for the Blue Devils. Dylan Tandle added 1g-1a  for Mynderse who end their regular season at 5-10. JD Allen had 3g, John Blair had 2g-1a and Dante Pezzimenti had 1g-2a for Bloomfield-Honeoye.     [BOX SCORE] 

EAST UNITED-EASTRIDGE 12  - BATAVIA-NOTRE DAME 3 - In the last game of the regular season, the Eagles were ahead 12-3 when the game was halted by thunder and lightning. Kenneth Edwards led the scoring with 5g-2a and Nayshaun Clark had 2g-1a while Sintral Jones made 6s (67%) for East United-Eastridge. Noah Burke had 3a and three different players had one goal each for the Blue Devils.    [BOX SCORE] 

Irondequoit at  PenfieldGREECE STORM 6  - AQUINAS 9 - As had often been the case this season, Aquinas saw goals from many players and in this games four players scored one goal and they all had at least one assist as well. Drew Eddy led the scoring with 3g-1a and Robert Goodrich made 9s (60%) for Aquinas who finish their regular season at 6-9. The Storm had 3g from Andrew Hill and 2g from Aiden Early. Johnathan Bucciarelli was credited with 20s (69%). Greece finishes their regular season at 4-12.     [BOX SCORE] 

FAIRPORT 7  - McQUAID JESUIT 4 - The Red Raiders were supporting an end to cancer with a `Cross Out Cancer Game' and played a close game with the Knights. Although Fairport had a 3-0 lead at the half, McQuaid came back with two quick goals at the top of the third and pushed the Raiders to match them goal-for-goal.  Goal tending and faceoffs played a key role in the win as McLean Ralston made 10s(71%) and Joey Giggie won 10 of 14 faceoffs. Jackson Monte scored 3g-1a and Kyle Gould added 3g for Fairport who ended their regular season at 13-3. McQuaid goalie Will Gordon also had a great game, making a number of high pressure saves and ending with 12s (63%).
