There were thirty-four games played last week. There are seventy-three out of section games scheduled and 20 have been played. Section V teams have won 15 and lost 5 (65%). There are six undefeated teams at this point.

Looking Back
Monday’s lacrosse matchups featured decisive victories across the board, with standout performances from players like Gianluca Auriuso, Grady Goodberlet, and Ryland Dunham. Teams including Hilton, Geneva, and McQuaid Jesuit dominated their games, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork.
Tuesday saw three Players of the Week, which honored Zach Tortora (Spencerport), Gianluca Auriuso (Hilton), Cody Whittaker (B-H) and AJ Theodorakakos (Penfield). In addition, there were six games played. Pittsford and Pal-Mac showcased their dominance with commanding wins, while standout performances from players like Griffin Hilimire and Rider VanZandt led their teams to victory. Balanced scoring and impressive defense were key themes across matchups, including Thomas's 24-9 triumph over Churchville-Chili and Livonia-Avon-Geneseo's 11-1 victory over Brockport.
On Wednesday Pittsford continued its dominance with a 16-10 victory, fueled by standout performances from Grant Lewis, Max Morgenstern, and goalie Bear Wehrheim. Canandaigua surged past Victor in the third quarter to claim a 9-6 win, while Mynderse-Romulus overcame Gananda 12-8 behind Griffin Hilimire's six-goal effort. Livonia-Avon-Geneseo secured an 11-1 win over Brockport, highlighted by Rider VanZandt’s faceoff success and Colton Rose's impressive goaltending. Thomas powered past Churchville-Chili 24-9, with balanced scoring contributions. Bloomfield-Honeoye dominated Marcus Whitman 14-3, and Pal-Mac remained unbeaten at 5-0 with a commanding 21-2 victory over Greece Storm.
Thursday saw a total of eight lacrosse games, with four of them decided by narrow margins. Canisius edged out Aquinas 10-9 in overtime after six ties throughout the game, while East United-Eastridge secured their first win of the season with a thrilling 7-6 overtime victory against Brockport. Hilton pulled away in the second quarter to claim a 9-4 win over Schroeder, with standout performances from Tyler Reger and Cahlan Smith. West Genesee defeated Penfield 12-9 in a competitive non-league matchup, led by Nash Oudemool’s four-goal effort. In the remaining contests, Pal-Mac dominated Newark 27-3, Penn Yan shut out Haverling 19-0, Gates Chili topped Batavia-Notre Dame 15-7, and Midlakes secured a commanding 20-9 win over Wayne.
On Friday Spencerport increased their record to 3-1 with their victory over Rush-Henrietta. Zach Tortora (5g-1a) and Jayden Mandarano (4g-6a) led the offense.
The week wrapped up on Saturday with nine games that featured intense battles. Baldwinsville narrowly defeating Thomas 14-12 and Canandaigua overcoming Corning 13-9 behind Ryan Bremer's standout performance. Dominant wins included Penn Yan's 13-6 victory against Geneva and Bloomfield-Honeoye remaining undefeated with a commanding 15-6 triumph over East United-Eastridge.
Looking Ahead
It's vacation week with only twenty-one games scheduled and most during the morning or early afternoon. Monday has only two games as HFL is at Wayne and Irondequoit is on the road at Mamaroneck.
Tuesday has the most almost games with seven on the schedule including Canandaigua at Jamesville-DeWitt, R-H at Horseheads, Thomas at Penfield and and Westhill at Brighton.
No games are scheduled for Wednesday.
There are six games to be played on Thursday with one of the highlight games feature Penfield at Schroeder.
Friday will see a single contest as Fairport plays at Canandaigua.
The week ends with five games on Saturday and a bunch of good ones including Pittsford at Fayetteville-Manlius, Baldwinsville at Irondequoit and Victor at Shaker.
