Friday - Gates, Hilton and Geneva Win

DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - There were three games today as the regular season is almost done.

GATES CHILI 9  - NEWARK 2 - The Spartans scored the only two goals in the first half and then took off in the second half scoring seven goals. Goaltender Nathan Weise recorded 5s (71%) while Thien Nguyen scored 4g and Blake Fennell added 3g for Gates who end their regular season at 7-9. Caleb Cady-George posted 12s (57%) in the goal for the Reds while Devon Bulman scored both goals. Newark finishes their regular season at 9-7.     [BOX SCORE] 

HILTON 14  - HF-L 9 - The game was very close until the third quarter when the Cadets scored seven unanswered goals. Eight players made the offensive book for Gates Chili. Leading the list were Cole Loewke with 3g-2a and Aiden Cawley with 2g-3a. Jason Mosher made 9s (90%) in his 25 mins in the Cadet cage. Hilton finishes at 8-8. Quinn Kailbourne scored 4g and Chase Perryman had 1g-3a for the Cougars who finish the regular season at 8-8.     [BOX SCORE] 

GENEVA 14  - MYNDERSE 0 - Max Miller had 5g-3a and Curtis Denison had 3g-3a to lead the Panthers while the defense and Garrett Kayser (5s) and Paul Williams (2s) earned the shutout. Geneva finishes the regular season at 7-9 while Mynderse finishes at 4-10.     [BOX SCORE]
