Wednesday: HF-L and Brighton Win in Shutouts
Both games played in the section today ended in shutouts as Brighton beat Batavia 21-0 and HFL beat Gananda 18-0.

-- Honeoye Falls-Lima scored eight goals in the first quarter and six more before the half, while holding Gananda to just three shots (nine in the game) on their way to a 21-0 victory. Junior midfielder Ian Holtby led the Cougar offense with 5g-2a while senior goalie Stephen Leonard made five saves for the shutout.
Freshman Ben Schumacher and senior attackman Zach O`Connor shared the goal keeping duties for Gananda, filling in for injured starter Steven Fischer on a cold and rainy night at HF-L.
Next up: Both teams are done until next week.

-- Brighton scored eight goals in the first quarter and added eight more before the half on their way to a 21-0 win over Batavia tonight. Fourteen different players made the offensive book for the Barons (5-1). Leading that list was Kurt Minges (2g-4a), Sam Burgess (3g-1a) and Brackett Bourne (3g). Junior goalie Tom Hillings earned the shutout with six saves. No goalie report from Batavia.
Next Up: Brighton hosts Pittsford on Saturday night and Batavia hosts Akron tomorrow.
