Thursday - Pal-Mac Takes Penn Yan on 4th Qtr Surge

DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - A fourth quarter surge gave the Red Raiders the win over Penn Yan. Victor survived a scare in their 12-8 win vs Schroeder and Midlakes-Red Jacket won a 10-8 game against the Pride.

HAVERLING 9  - AQUINAS 19 - Aquinas scored early and kept it going, posting an 11-3 half. Noah Olbrich scored 5g-3a, Angelo Palumbo scored 5g-1a and Drew Eddy had 3g-5a for the winners. Brody Baldwin had 4g and Ezra Hoad and Jamie O`Neil both had 2g-1a for the Rams. AQ goalie Robert Goodridge had 12s (57%).     [BOX SCORE] 

Livonia at  HFLIRONDEQUOIT 18  - CHURCHVILLE-CHILI 7 - Noah Gibson scored 3g-6a, Aiden Greco had 4g-2a and Cooper Moore added 1g-5a for the Eagles (13-1). There was no report from the Saints at post time.    [BOX SCORE] 

SCHROEDER 8  - VICTOR 12 - Schroeder to an early lead, winning the first quarter 4-2 and the half 5-4, but the Blue Devils woke up in the third quarter, scoring six goals to take the lead and keep it as they experienced a scare for the undefeated season (14-0). The Warriors saw 5g from Nick Hauman. Sam Ricci won 17-22 face offs for Victor and Thomas Gravino scored 3g2a and Pax Marshall had 4g.     [BOX SCORE] 

GREECE STORM 5  - PITTSFORD 14 - The Panthers dominated early, scoring eight unanswered goals in the first half. Fourteen players made the offensive book for Pittsford (12-3), most with single goals. Brady Goetz led with 1g-3a and James Cook, Luke Fliss, and Rex Kesselring each scored 2g. No goalie data was available at post time. Steven Laframboise had 2g-1a for the Storm.    [BOX SCORE] 

Livonia at  HFLNEWARK 10  - WATERLOO 6 - Waterloo led at halftime 4-3 but the Reds returned with four goals in the third and three more in the last quarter. Newark goaltender Caleb George-Cady had 13s (68%) while Preston Steve posted 3g-4a and Tyler Deline added 1g-2a. Peter Shangraw led the Blue Devils with 3g-1a.      [BOX SCORE] 

GATES CHILI 3  - HF-L 12 - The Cougars set the tone with seven goals in the first quarter. David Brassie had 3g-3a, Matthew Brassie had 2g-2a and Chase Perryman had 3g-1a for HF-L. There was no report from the Spartans at post time.     [BOX SCORE] 

SPENCERPORT 5  - FAIRPORT 9 - Neither team scored in the first quarter but the Red Raiders led 5-3 at the half. Mitchell Monte scored 1g-2a, Billy Meagher scored 1g-1a and Kyle Gould, Jackson Monte and Chase Rizzo each added two goals for Fairport (10-3) Face off specialist Joey Giggie won 13 of 18 draws for the Red Raiders. Each of Spencerport`s goals were scored by different players. The Rangers are 8-5 and will play Aquinas next week. Fairport will play Hamburg on Saturday.    [BOX SCORE] 

Livonia at  HFLPENN YAN 3  - PAL-MAC 7 - For three quarters the game was very close with the teams tied 2-2 at the half and with Penn Yan ahead 3-2 after three quarters, but then the Red Raiders took off and scored five unanswered goals for the win. Quinn Nolan gave Pal-Mac a great deal of ball-time, winning 13 of 14 face offs while scoring 2g. Riley Lich had 3a and Mike Halsey had 2g-2a for the Red Raiders (12-1). It was only the second time that Pal-Mac defeated the Mustangs (9-4). Carter Earl scored 2g-1a for Penn Yan. Goaltending was superb at both ends of the field. Mustang goalie Griffin Emerson made 15s (68%) and Peyton Lich had 12s (80%) for Pal-Mac.      [BOX SCORE]      - - More images in the photo gallery

BRIGHTON 15  - RUSH-HENRIETTA 16  [UPDATED] -  The teams were tied 9-9 at the half. The Royal Comets scored five goals in the the third quarter and the Bruins scored five in the last quarter. Cody Coleman scored 5g and Jack Nothnagle and Chase Petschke both had 2g-2a for R-H. Liam McGuire scored 6g, Cal Oberst had 2g-3a, Aksel Stanat had 3g-1a and TJ Carl added 2g-2a for the Bruins.     [BOX SCORE] 

Livonia at  HFLTHOMAS 9  - HILTON 3 - Hilton goalie Jason Mosher was kept busy, making 17s (65%), but the Titans kept scoring while their own defense limited Hilton`s shooting. Owen Dalberth made 5s (63%) while Ethan Shappee scored 3g and Chase Gottstein scored 2g-1a for Thomas (9-4). Three different players scored one goal each of the Cadets.    [BOX SCORE]
