Saturday: DAY IN REVIEW: There were just three games in the section today. Livonia beat Wayne despite a strong comeback. McQuaid Jesuit beat Webster Schroeder and Bloomfield-Honeoye was a 14-3 winner over Batavia.Livonia-Avon at Wayne

McQuaid Jesuit (6-3) scored five unanswered goals in the first quarter on their way to a 13-9 win against Webster Schroeder this afternoon. The Warriors scored four goals in the second and four more in the fourth quarter as they tried to get back in the game, but the Knights kept up with them. Max Ettinghausen had 3g-1a and Gavin Brownlie and Ryan McCarthy each scored 2g for the Knights. Goalie Connor Winters made 13s/9ga (59%). Nick Hauman had 2g-2a and Jack Leach had 14s/13ga (52%) for Schroeder. [BOX SCORE]

Livonia-Avon at WayneLivonia scored four unanswered goals in the first quarter and led 7-4 at the half. Although Wayne scored five goals in the fourth it was not enough as the Lakers won 12-9. Justin Skelly scored 4g-1a and Jackson McEnerney scored 2g-5a for the Lakers (10-4). Nate Michel had 4g-1a and Andy Hamel added 4g for Wayne (8-5). Bloomfield-Honeoye scored six goals in the first half on their way to a 14-3 win at Batavia this morning. JD Allen scored 4g-3a and Max Willix added 4g-2a for the Pride whose goalie Owen Saxby made 10s/3ga (77%). Noah Burke scored 2g for Batavia. [BOX SCORE]
