Wayne senior attackman, Andrew Jenkins recently announced his commitment to study and play lacrosse at SUNY Oneonta after his graduation from Wayne Central.
A two year varsity player for the Eagles. Jenkins recorded sixteen points in his sophomore year and 20g-19a last season for which he received a Finger lakes Honorable Mention.
Off season he played with the SweetLax Lacrosse Club and, last fall, played in the Rutgers and UMass tournaments.
Oneonta is an NCAA Division III school playing in the SUNYAC league coached by Dan Mahar. Leagues games include schools like Brockport, Geneseo, Cortland and Potsdam.
Before choosing Oneonta Jenkins considered Brockport and St. John Fischer College.
