Rush-Henrietta Opens with a Win

Saturday: DAY IN REVIEW: The Pal-Mac vs Cathedral Prep game was called off after snow fell last night, so there was only one game played today.

R-H at HaverlingThe game started out slowly, with no scoring in the first quarter and close scoring in the second. The teams went into the break with the Royal Comets up 5-3. R-H took charge in the third, as Nick Cowie score three of the goals while holding the Rams to one. Gunner MacMillan led the offense with 1g-4a while Cowie and Zack Lenhard each had 3g. R-H goalie Cameron Kuzniar had a 67% day in the cage (8s/4ga).

The Rams saw offense from Jordon Deals (2g-2a) and Jamie O`Neil (3g). Hunter Cupp led the ground ball effort for Haverling with six.

Next up for Rush-Henrietta is Gananda on Monday. Haverling will play Livonia-Avon on Tuesday.
