Tuesday: Waterloo in OT, Victor Takes Fairport, CA over Brighton
Thirteen games were played today with a number of games in the "must watch" group. Victor took visiting Fairport 17-7 and Pittsford took Irondequoit 19-5. Wayne and Churchville-Chili remain undefeated, but Brighton lost their first game of the season to Canandaigua. Waterloo has an exciting overtime win against Bloomfield-Honeoye and Geneva had a win over Gananda. Other winners were Newark, Pal-Mac, Thomas, HFL, Lightning, Livonia and Penfield.

-- NOTES: Jason Feinberg scored his 100th career goal for Geneva in their 11-9 win over Gananda. The Blue Panthers played a strong first 24 minutes before having a difficult second half. Gananda led 4-1 at the half and extended their lead to 5-1 with the opening goal of the third quarter. They were then held to only a single goal of the next eleven. By the final three minutes of the contest the Panthers held an 11-6 lead. Gananda scored the final three goals to make the score closer.

-- SPORTSFIVE REPORT: Waterloo won their second back to back one goal game of the season with a 7-6 overtime victory over Bloomfield-Honeoye. Last week the Indians defeated Midlakes 7-6. Waterloo was led in scoring by Kyle Lotz with 1g-2a and Adam Jensen with 3g-1a. The Pride was led by Jon Marble with 3g.
Waterloo scored the only two goals of the first quarter to take an early 2-0 lead. Tyler Colton scored the opening goal of the second quarter for the Indians to give them a 3-0 lead with 10:48 remaining in the half. The Pride fought back and scored the next three goals to tie the game early in the third quarter. Dalton Phillips, Marble and Trevor Hawkins scored for B-H. An unassisted goal from Jensen gave the Indians back the temporary lead. Bloomfield-Honeoye scored back to back goals to take their first lead of the game 5-4 to end the third quarter.
Waterloo spent the next six minutes to tie the game. Jensen scored his second back to back unassisted goal to tie the game at 5-5. Marble's last goal of the night gave the Pride a short-lived 6-5 lead. Only 0:09 later the Indians tied the game. The final three and a half minutes were scoreless and the game was sent to overtime. On the opening face-off, Lotz assisted Nicholas Stenberg for the game winning goal.
