Peter Schwab Selects Albany
Peter Schwab, a Penfield junior midfielder, has announced his commitment to attend and play lacrosse for the University of Albany Peter played on the Penfield Patriots Varsity team last year as a sophomore. He came on strong at the end of the season totaling ten goals and eleven assists, with four points in the sectional final. Last season he was named to the Section Five All Tournament Team.
In the off season, Peter is the starting quarterback on the Varsity Football team and has played for the Blaze Lacrosse Club for the last two years. In 2014 and 2015 he played in the Brine National All-American Classic.
Before committing to Albany he also considered attending UMass, Bellarmine, Siena and Colgate.
SUNY Albany is an NCAA Division I school that plays in the American East Conference. They advanced to the NCAA Division I quarter finals last season, losing to Notre Dame.
