The Head Coaches of Section Five meet last week to consider players who had been nominated for All-American and All-Academic awards. The awards, sponsored by US Lacrosse, identify some of the best players from each area around the country. Named All Americans were: Reese Burek (Fairport), Trevor Ford (Thomas), Chayse Ierlan (Victor), Alexander Mabbett (Victor), Brady McDermott, Garrett Ruff (HF-L).

Named All-Academics were: Jack Billitier (McQuaid Jesuit), Mitchell Cain (Victor), Jacob Buck (Chuchville-Chili), Austin Blumbergs (Penn Yan), Matt Hill (Thomas) and Erick Jakobsze (Schroeder).  Story Continues...
