The teams traded goals early, but Canandaigua pulled ahead with a five-goal run in the third quarter. Senior attackman Patrick Olvany led the offense with four goals, while midfielder Ryan Bremer added three goals and one assist. Jack Stanney and Drew Williamee each contributed one goal and one assist, and Mike Belles recorded one goal and two assists. Goalie Evan Scibelli finished with eight saves and a 53% save rate.

Orchard Park kept the game close early, responding quickly in the first quarter, but couldn't keep pace with Canandaigua’s third-quarter surge.
