May 17, 2016 — SPORTSFIVE REPORT: Greece Athena/Odyssey scored four of the last five goals to defeat Brockport 11-10. The Thunder had trailed since the mid-portion of the second quarter before their scoring run took off in the fourth quarter. Brockport was held scoreless for 13 minutes at the end of the third and beginning of the fourth quarters.

Ath/Ody scored the first two goals to take an early lead. Zack Gibaud and Dalton McCumber scored for the Thunder and they held a 2-0 lead for the first seven minutes. Brockport scored three before the end of the quarter and the Thunder added two more to lead 4-3 after 12 minutes. The second quarter belonged to the Blue Devils. After trading the first two goals, Brockport scored three unanswered to take a two goal lead (7-5) into the half. Chad Tobey, Jake Sweet and Austin Manchester scored for the Blue Devils.

In the second half, Ath/Ody outscored Brockport 6-3. The Blue Devils scored the first goal (Michael Kast), before the Thunder added two of their own (Josh Shields and Dylan Wiemer).
