The Warriors led 5-1 with six minutes remaining before the Saints attempted a late comeback with the last three goals. The Saints scored with 0:37 remaining to bring the game within a single goal.

Churchville-Chili scored the opening goal on a man-up goal by Jake Mortier. The Warriors scored the next five goals and held the Saints scoreless for forty-five minutes.
