Despite the Cougars taking an early lead with goals from Grady Goodberlet and Marco Vengoechea in the first quarter, JD responded with consistent scoring throughout the remainder of the game. Leading the effort was Lucas Patchen, who tallied five goals, while Ryan Babikan added four. Additional contributions came from Lucas Brazell with two goals and one assist, and Benjamin Porter, who posted one goal and two assists.
