HFL started with six goals in the first quarter, led by Quinn Kailbourne’s three goals and an assist. They extended their lead in the second quarter with seven more goals, including contributions from Grady Goodberlet (four goals) and Marco Vengoechea (one goal, three assists). Brockport found the net once in the opening period thanks to Tyler Davis and added another goal in the fourth quarter through Ryan Miller.

HFL’s defense kept Brockport from gaining momentum, with goalies Jason Bennett and Jackson Blythe making timely saves. Bennett stopped four shots and allowed one goal for an 80% save rate, while Blythe recorded eight saves, allowing one goal for an 89% save rate.
