Sixteen games were played on another great spring day. Penfield beat Pittsford 7-5 in a key match up, making for exciting possible Class A semifinal games. Newark beat Midlakes by one goal as did Mynderse, who beat Gananda

Thursday: Fairport over PY, Livonia over AQ and More
Unlike may of the game days of late, there were some very exciting games and scores today as 15 games were played. Mynderse beat Wayne 5-4, Fairport overcame a 3-1 deficit to beat Penn Yan 7-5 and Midlakes defeated Marcus Whitman 9-8.

Gananda senior midfielder Zach Binggeli scored with 0:16 left in regulation to give the Blue Panthers an 8-7 win over Aquinas. Batavia-Attica scored three last goals to force overtime

Saturday: The Season Starts with Five Games
Over the past few seasons the GRALL has opened the season in Section Five with a day of games at the Aquinas Institute. Last season the same three teams faced each other with the same victors.

Tuesday: Victor Takes Irondequoit, Fairport Defeats Penfield
Finally, there were a number of close games played in the section today. Victor held off a last minute attack by Irondequoit to hold on to a 7-6 win. Hilton beat the Lightning 8-6, McQuaid came back hard to beat Livonia 14-13 in overtime.

Saturday: J-D, Penn Yan, R-H and Schroeder Among the Winners
Jamesville-DeWitt beat Fairport 17-9 and Penn Yan beat Penfield 11-1. Rush-Henrietta defeated Lancaster of Section 6 and Webster Schroeder beat Spencerport 17-16.

A dozen games were played today. Three games were won by one goal, but most games were mismatches again today. In a "Storm game", Greece Ath/Ody (Thunder)beat Greece Arc/Oly (Lightning) 7-6.

Saturday: Gananda over Waterloo 9-8 and Many Mismatches Today
There were 12 games played on Saturday and the vast majority were mismatches. Gananda and Waterloo, however, played a close one which saw the Blue Panthers winning 9-8.

There were thirteen games scheduled for Thursday. There were some blow-outs and there were some close one. Pittsford remained undefeated with an 11-6 win over St. Joseph's.

There were seventeen games scheduled for Tuesday and some although there were a number of mismatches, there were also some close ones. Mynderse took an early lead and fought off a late charge by Marcus Whitman to beat the Wildcats 10-7.

There were lots of games played in an around Section Five today. The day started with Mynderse beating Waterloo 8-6 and ended with an overtime win for Fairport, who defeated West Genesee 9-8.

GRALL Announces the 2013 Super Sixteen
The All Star list is out recognizing the GRALL players for the 2013 season. Senior defenseman, Luc Bailey from McQuaid was selected as GRALL "Player of the Year". The GRALL coaches gave the Sportsmanship award to Haverling-Haverling.

Thursday: Canandaigua over Penfield, Pittsford over Irondequoit
There were nine games played in the section today. Canandaigua scored five goals late in their game to defeat Penfield 7-5. Head Coach Andrew Whipple was the "Whipple-Winner" as Pittsford defeated his brother's team from Irondequoit 7-2.

Saturday: Geneva Takes Irondequoit 9-7
Geneva surprised many with their exciting 9-7 win over last year's Class B Champion, Irondequoit in a game played at Hobart College in Geneva today. The Eagles scored first and after Geneva came back for the tie Irondequoit went up again 2-1.

Royal Comets Take Bulldogs
Rush-Henrietta scored the first eleven goals in their 14-2 win over Livonia in the third game at Aquinas on the opening day of games. The Royal Comets controlled the majority of the game with 45% of their totals shots resulting in goals and 65% of their shots on cage.

Livonia Beats Eastridge
After trailing 3-0 after the first quarter, Livonia fought back to defeated Eastridge 9-7. The Bulldogs scored four unanswered goals to start the fourth quarter and then moved into the lead. The Lancers started off strong, but couldn`t keep up the pressure in the second half.
