Rochester D&C Lists Top Players for 2013

CumminsThe Rochester Democrat and Chronicle announced their 2013 All-Greater Rochester Lacrosse team today. The list features the top sixteen players and another seventy-six honorable mentions were led by Penfield senior defenseman, Charlie Cummins who was named "Player of the Year". Cummins, who has been on the varsity team since eighth grade, led the team in defensive take-aways with fifty-eight and was third on the team in ground ball production with fifty-eight, behind face-off midfielders Connor Russell and Anthony Mitchell.

Cummins topped off an exciting year with the Patriots as they won their last nine games and won the Class A Sectional Championship before losing to West Genesee in the New York State semifinal round.
