On the biggest night thus far, there were eleven games played and the closest game was three goals as Gates Chili held off a last flurry of goals from the Greece Lightning, winning 12-9 and Churchville-Chili who defeated Spencerport 13-10.

There were only two games played today. Geneva went to Horseheads (Section IV) and lost in overtime while Penfield played the first game under the lights on the turf field tonight and came away with their second win of the season.

# 566  Penfield Takes Canandaigua

Penfield took the lead with 5:48 remaining in the first quarter and never trailed again in their 11-9 win over Canandaigua. Although the Braves opened the scoring, Penfield scored the next four goals to lead 4-1 after the first quarter. Canandaigua moved within a single goal twice, but never re-tied the game. This is the first time that Penfield has defeated Canandaigua since 2012.
