Fairport rising senior offensiveman, Dan McAvoy, has made his verbal commitment to study and play lacrosse at Siena College in Loudonville, New York.

Playing both attack and midfield for the Red Raiders, McAvoy scored in nearly every game last season, ending with 32g-13a toward his varsity career totals of 49g-21a.

Sharing for the lead in goal production last season, McAvoy was named to the Monroe county D-1 first team (midfield) and was named to the All Section Five second team list.

He made his commitment to Siena Head Coach John Svec, who just finished his third year at the head of the MAAC, NCAA Division I program.
