Class D - GRALL League

Last year the Rams were young and with attackman Jamie O`Neil producing 127 points, they finish the season at 10-5. This year, O`Neil is back along with a great deal of last year's team.

The Rams will miss Hunter Cupp (23g-9a), Ian DiDomineck (35g-1a) and defenseman Curtis Conrad (32 takes). Cupp won 235 faceoffs last year (73%). All three were first team all-league picks.

Coach DiDomineck will be looking for leadership from O`Neil, a four-year varsity attackman, who in two seasons has scored 96g-82a. Leading the defense will be senior Brady Yartym who will play both close defense and long stick middie in his third year with the varsity. Controlling the offensive end of the field are senior midfield/attackmen Brody Baldwin and Brady Dickson and junior Justin Yehl. Baldwin scored 21g-3a will be expected to play most of his time in the attack. Dickson (25g-16a) can be effective in both attack or midfield. Yehl will be highly motivated in his fourth year on the varsity after losing his freshman year to the pandemic and his sophomore year to an injury.  After steady improvements throughout last season, junior goalie Ethan Narby will return to the goal. After a 59% day against Pal-Mac, he finished the regular season with three more wins and save percentage above 69%.

"We will have an experienced and athletic lacrosse team who will need to gel quickly in the season as we open with HF-L, Aquinas and the Lakers of Livonia-Avon", says Coach DiDomineck. "We will play in the very competitive GRALL with some challenging non-league games. So every game is a must win. We will need to have focus thorough out the season in practice and on game day."

It would seem that if the Rams can find a replacement for Cupp who could win faceoffs, their offense will win them games.
