Fairport Over McQuaid in OT

Monday: DAY IN REVIEW: A nine goal second quarter led to a 12-2 half as Spencerport (7-0) posted an 18-4 win for the Rangers over Aquinas this afternoon. Connor Mesh had 3g-3a and won 13/14 (94%) faceoffs and Justin Schnauber added 2g-3a for Spencerport. Aquinas at SpencerportThree players from Aquinas scored one goal each and Ryan Firmstone had 1g-3a for the L'il Irish (3-4) who will play Midlakes-Red Jacket on Tuesday. Haverling sciored seven goals in the first and seven more in the second on their way to an 18-2 win over visiting Mynderse tonight. Nine different players made the scorebook for the Rams. Leading the list was Jamie O`Neil with 6g-5a and Ian DiDomineck with 5g. Hunter Cup won 17/18 faceoffs for Haverling (3-3). Freshman A/M Caden Guenot scored both goals for the Blue Devils. Five goals in the third quarter made a difference as Penfield defeated Hilton 12-7 tonight in a late game. Leading the Patriots were Sam Cummings and Jackson Saulpaugh who each recorded 3g-2a. Goalkeeper Seamus Hand made 9s/7ga (56%) for Penfield (6-1) who play Thomas on Wednesday. BK at WayneNate Askin scored six goals and Daniel Wright scored 3g-4a for Geneva as they defeated visiting Batavia 16-2 tonight. Garrett Kayser recorded 8s/2ga (60%) for the Panthers (6-2) who will play Marcus Whitman on Tuesday. Cole Beardsley and Chris Parker each scored one goal for the Blue Devils. [BOX SCORE]

In their first ever meeting with Bishop Kearney, the Wayne Eagles overcame a 6-4 halftime score by adding four third quarter goals which was the difference in their 9-8 win. Andy Hamel scored 2g-3a and Alex Bolt and Nate Michel each added 2g-1a while in the net, Jack Acker made 17s/8ga (68%) for Wayne. There was no report from Bishop Kearney at post time. Penfield at HiltonSophomore goalie Brady Robinson (3s and senior goalie Zach Pavia (1s) split halves and won the shutout for Victor in their game with Schroeder this afternoon. Logan Callahan won all fifteen draws and Sam Ricci won all six or his draws for the Blue Devils. Thirteen players made the Victor offensive book. Leading the list were Sam Gotham and Thomas Gravino who each had 3g-1a. Victor remains undefeated at 5-0. [BOX SCORE]

Rush-Henrietta beat East United-Eastridge 17-0. Tommy LaRocca led in scoring with 2g-4a and Chase Petschke had 3g-2a while Owen Mix made 3s for the Royal Comets. Irondequoit scored the first three goals and never trailed as they defeated visiting Brighton tonight 10-5. Noah Gibson scored 4g-1a and Ronnie Garrow posted 2g-1a and goalkeeper Charles Chodack made 6s/5a (55%) for the Eagles. Canandaigua travelled to Pittsford where the Braves scored five unanswered goals in the first and four unasnwered goals in the second on their way to an 11-2 win tonight. Sophomore goalie Jack Faiola made 8s/0ga in his 39 mins in the cage and freshman goalie Anthony Vigneri recorded 4s/2ga (67%). Sam Bennett scored 6g for the Braves, still undefeated at 7-0. James Cook and Ben Steingass each scored once for the Panthers who will play Hilton on Wednesday. [BOX SCORE]

Aquinas at SpencerportBrady Knauf and Ethan Knauf each scored one first quaret goal for Gates Chili, but that was it for the Spartans as Churchville-Chili posted five goals in each each for the 10-2 win at Gates tonight. Spartan goalie Nathan Weise made 16s/10ga (62%). Freshman attackman Dominic Hoch had 3g-2a and Brett Seaman had 3g for the Saints (3-3) who will play HF-L next. [BOX SCORE]

Senior midfielder Rob Crowley score one of his two goals in overtime on a pass from Kole Stuver to give Fairport a 6-5 win at McQuaid Jesuit. Fairport led at halftime 4-2 and the Red Raiders scored one unanswered goal in the third, before the Knights had a scored three unsnaswered goals in the fourth to force an overtime period. Trey Terzo had 2g and and Kyle Gould had 1g1a for the Red Raiders. Joey Giggie won 13/16 draws and McLean Ralston made 7s/5ga (58%) for Fairport (3-3). Four different players score one goal each and Max Ettinghausen scored 1g-1a for McQuaid Jesuit (3g-2a) who will play HF-L on Friady. Next up for Fairport is Rush-Henrietta. [BOX SCORE]
